Happy Halloween! Brian and I craved pumpkins tonight. It took us about half an hour to actually pick which pumpkins we would take home. Brian's is the cool one. Mine is as usual the special-ed one. But it was fun and we managed to not make a huge mess and I resisted the urge to throw pumpkin goo on Brian (he is lots bigger than me and I would have lost that battle).
P.S. Mine is wearing a hat...

OH cute. I always feel bad for the sped pumpkins, christmas trees, etc and always want to take them home. I just know we're going to end up with a three-legged puppy or something.
I am so glad you cleared up that hat issue...I was worried the little pumpkin had had a terrible lobotomy...:-)
We are not carving pumpkins. It is too warm...feels like July and carving pumpkins just doesn't "fit". It's a bit depressing really.
Any pumpkin I do is always a sped pumpkin. I'm glad you craved them. Did you carve them also? I crave them too, so that I can cut them up, bake them and scoop out the insides and freeze it and make truly delicious pumpkin pie. Like I have enough time for that.
Hey NayNAy, get yourself a couple of those plastic carvable pumpkins from the craft store and then youc an carve them without the mess.
